This house has a real story to tell. Juana bought it in 1987, opened her café on the ground floor and raised her family here for more than thirty years. In 2020 the house changed hands and it fell to us to carry it forward: we renovated it with care, and today the rooms that once belonged to the family welcome anyone who wants to spend a few days in the centre of Alicante. Outside, Barrio wakes up as the rest of the centre slows down: streets climbing towards Santa Cruz and Santa Bárbara Castle, and further down, Postiguet beach, the port and the terraces that stretch Alicante late into the night.
